Abstract

In the early human history mankind did not even know the names of currencies, commodities were exchanged for goods or services for transactions. Gradually various valuables came to be used as currency. Coins of various denominations have even become popular. The conversion of previously used metal currencies into paper currency and then the introduction of electronic currency using modern technology. This is one of the great wonders of human history but this change has created many problems. Just as the modern age has developed the global economy, so too has the pattern of change in the economic order changed. This is leading to a trend of online trading of currencies. Now you can make a profit by pressing your fingers on your smartphone in just a few seconds while sitting.

If you want to use ancient jurisprudential manuscripts in exchanging currencies, it will be useful to study the rules of sale only. The trend of virtual currency (digital currency) is increasing in the global market. Online trading of currency is of great importance in the global economic system. While Islamic law provides guidance in other matters in view of modern requirements, it also provides guidance in this matter. The article is also a link in the same chain, in which the online buying and selling of currencies has been examined on the principles of Shariah.
