Abstract

In this article, it has been endeavoured to analyze the services of Sufya to reform the society. Actually, Islam's teaching of good morals is as much about community as it is about the individual. It not only wants to create good and pious people but also wants to create such a clean society. In which individuals and society should be content with the beauty of their personal life but also try to mold the whole collective, religious and cultural life on their own map and pattern. This is because Islam is a collective religion and not a private religion.

Prior to Islam, Platonic thought, Christian mysticism, Hinduism, and Buddhist monasticism combined to impose on man the individual concept of religion, spirituality, and morality. That is to say, every individual can attain his salvation and happiness selfishly, without needing the reformation and welfare of other human beings, only through formal and outward worship and through a monastic lifestyle.
