Keeping the Covenant" and its Impact on the Human Being in a Positive Way in light of the Speeches of the Prophet ﷺ

Abstract

Islam is the religion of peace and security. Therefore, he does not tolerate any negligence on the part of his followers in their daily life. especially when it comes to rights of worship or community, its importance and sensitivity increases. Islam prioritizes high human values and valuable attributes in its teachings.in fact, Islam is a religion that has all kinds of virtues. this is the straight path that guarantees the salvation and prosperity of all mankind. purity and purity of soul is found only in this divine religion.  since Islam is a collection of all virtues, the Lord of the Universe has chosen this religion for Himself.

Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

"Religion is Islam in the sight of Allah"

One of its many best attributes is the fulfillment of vows. pledge of allegiance is one of the major duties of a Muslim. if a person is devoid of the attribute of fulfillment of the covenant, then he is considered to be deprived of the dignity of humanity. if a person makes a promise to people and turns away from it, then he is considered unreliable in human society. people do not pay attention to the importance of the promise, but sometimes it is jokingly said that "what is the promise that has been fulfilled".

Islam also commands respect for and fulfillment of all agreements that contain financial obligations, and an atmosphere of trust in trade and all other economic matters can be created only when the fulfillment of the covenant is considered an important duty. dishonesty and disloyalty destroy trust and confidence. it creates an atmosphere of chaos and lawlessness, sometimes causing rifts in mutual relations and even compassionate relationships become suspicious and uncertain. and hatred and enmity arise in the family. this covenant must be with everyone, whether one is a disbeliever or a believer! Because in Islam there is no difference between morality and virtue. treating everyone with good manners is a feature of Islamic teachings. this makes a significant difference between Islam and other religions. the chest of Islam is wide open for everyone and its footsteps are open for peace and brotherhood for everyone.
