Abstract

Currencies have always been very important, they have a long history in the Islamic State and they also have a history of changes and transformations. Due to the fact that many rules and obligations of Jizyah, Diyat, Mahr and Hudood are related to currency, the scholars have copied their research and rules in detail. On the contrary, the scholars have given it so much importance that it has been considered by Allah as the greatest reward for the servants. Imam al-Ghazali writes in Ahl al-Uloom al-Din's Kitab al-Shukr: And what becomes gratitude for the blessings, for example, that Allah created dirhams and dinars and from them the world is established.Since cash and currency are both necessary and useful to the general public, and from them the world is governed and worldly affairs depend on them, it is necessary to mention in some detail the history of Islam and the evolutionary stages. Prior to this, some words and discussions on the nature of pre-Islamic currency seemed appropriate.
